Josh Goldenfarb and Cadence Grimes have been NBTHS varsity bowlers for 3 and 4 years respectively. This season both athletes earned themselves a place in the Top 32 portion of the GMC Individual Championship, held at Majestic Lanes on January 28th.

Josh and Cadence continued to perform well: Josh placed 11th in the GMC out of 114 male bowlers, and Cadence earned a medal by securing 4th place overall in the County out of 100 plus female participants.

Over his 3 years, Josh has been a member of a team who were Division champions, State Sectional Group IV champions, and State Group Group 4 Finalists. Josh made incredible strides after his first season on the team, adding 54 pins to his overall overage over 1 season, and he was a 2025 honoree on the All-Division team. As a Senior he increased his average another 16 pins, leading the team at a 198 average.

Cadence was a part of the 2024-25 Division championship team and was recognized as an All-Division and All-GMC honoree. Her highest single season average was a 156- a 40 pin growth which was capped off this season with her 4th place finish in the GMCs.

Hopefully, both athletes will earn more recognition at the end of the season for their overall performances.
