Being successful on the field of play is only one aim of the North Brunswick High School football program-and since 2017 the team has seen its share: a 58-23 record; 4 Division Championships; 2x State Finalists Group 5; Top 10 Final Ranking 6 years; NJSIAA Playoffs 7 out of 8 years; multiple players at every level of NCAA Football.

However, the Raiders coaching staff focuses on much more than just the game of football. Since Coach Mike Cipot took over at NBTHS, the motto has been clear: TOGETHER- united in mission, vision, and purpose.

To help facilitate both on-field and off-field growth the football program provides Leadership Council sessions in which the 8 values of the program are reviewed, discussed, and reflected upon. In the summer months the team gathers weekly to consistently evaluate procedures, to honestly assess themselves, to identify areas of improvement , and to create action plans to guarantee improvement.

During the season it is not uncommon for some to meet on an early morning to help reinforced what was implemented in the summer; it is also normal to hear from alumni who return to offer inspiration and guidance to current Raiders.

In the end, the NBTHS football program hopes their players move into the future with purpose and with a goal-oriented mindset.
