NBTHS track athlete, Hanna Puritz, has been selected as this year’s North Brunswick Township High School’s representative for the NJSIAA-sponsored National Association of Girls and Women in Sports Day. The NAGWS award celebrates the achievements and leadership abilities of many outstanding female athletes throughout the state. Recipients of this award are identified by the high school coach(es) and by the athletic department based on traits and characteristics reflective of a high school athlete: positivity, dedication, commitment, perseverance, and a willingness to excel.

The National Girls and Women in Sports Day for New Jersey and the NJSIAA is pleased to partner with Rutgers University in celebrating the 2024 National Girls & Women in Sports Day. The celebratory event will be hosted on Sunday, January 14th, at Jersey Mike's Arena - Rutgers women's basketball hosts Penn State at 2:00pm. Nominees will be recognized during halftime. NJSIAA will also provide a certificate and small gift to each attendee.
