On Tuesday, April 25th, a select group of NBTHS athletes had a unique opportunity to attend an assembly hosted by members of the Rutgers Mens Basketball team. Cam Spencer, Aundre Hyatt, and Aiden Terry, members of the successful 2022-23 Rutgers squad, spent some time at North Brunswick High School speaking to current athletes about what is needed to be successful at the collegiate level.

The Division 1 players offered advice on time management, focus, effort, and team commitment. Cam, Aundre, and Aiden shared some personal history and outlined the schedule of a college athlete. The basketball team members offered motivational words and insights to a crowd of about 60 NBTHS student-athletes and opened the floor to any questions. The high school students were able to meet with the three visitors at the conclusion of the event to take pictures and chat.

The NBTHS athletic department and student-athletes extend their gratitude to the Rutgers Mens program and to Cam, Aundre, and Aiden who dedicated their time at the high school at to Mr. Rich who spearheaded the event.
